You watch politics, talk politics and argue politics, but how much do you really know about our political system, how it works and why?  Find out Saturdays at 10:30AM, as Indivisible 97415 presents “Saturday Class at the Redwood Theater-American Government”.  American Government is a comprehensive introduction to US government and politics. The classes are video based, and shown on-screen at the Redwood Theater.  Classes are taught by Professor Thomas E. Patterson, who is the Bradlee Professor of Government & the Press at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.  This is an actual college level course, offered through Edx.org.

The American Government Class will highlight main features of American politics, while asking you to consider major issues that are relevant to us today.

It is not necessary to come to every class or watch every video; you won’t be graded and nobody is taking attendance.  This is a rare opportunity for you to learn, from a subject matter expert who teaches at a world class university, about the incredible experiment in government we’re all a part of, The United States of America.
